SHIFT ASSIGNMENT:emSunday, Monday, and Tuesday - working every other Saturday 7pm - 7am/ememNight Shift differential: $1.25/hr/emThe Process Technician is responsible for the start-up, shut down, and troubleshooting of the molding process during normal production runs.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESemMay include, but are not limited too, the following:/emulliAssist with new mold samples, and assist in the creation of full documentation on all processing parameters./liliMeets with the Shift Supervisor and other Process Technicians to discuss any and all issues relating to the shop floor./liliAssists the Shift Supervisor to ensure the part quality is understood, standard production rates are maintained, and to ensure that only product that meets or exceeds quality criteria are packaged./liliAssist die setters and material handlers as assigned to ensure that the set-ups being performed are done properly, in a safe and timely manner./liliSupport production activities to include mold/mechanical maintenance and die setting activities as directed./liliFollow all departmental operational procedures relating to the set-up, operation, and shut down of jobs./liliPerform special duties and or projects as assigned. Operate the machine as needed/liliDocument any and all process changes per internal procedures./liliDocument repairs as need on work order requests for maintenance and tooling repairs./li/ulEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSulliMinimum of a high school diploma or an equivalent./liliMaster Molder training and mold cavity pressure sensors preferred/liliem5 years/emof relevant industry experience./liliPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail./liliProblem analysis and problem resolution ability./liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals./liliAbility to write routine reports and correspondence./liliMust have the ability to collect and analyze data, and prepare concise reports summarizing the findings of work./liliAbility to effectively communicate to employees at all levels of the organization./liliAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form./li/ulPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
