In return, you will have the opportunity to move from a Level 1 up to a Level 4.Wolverine offers three options for health insurance, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, long and short-term disability, paid vacations, paid holidays, apprenticeship programs, 40 hours of paid PTO per year, 401k with a Roth option with company match, and shift premiums for working second and third shifts.emAll candidates must be able to pass a Drug/Alcohol test and Background check./emEntry level starts at $14.00 per hour up to $20.00 for level 4.SUMMARYThe operator will perform a variety of basic operations relating to metal stamping, fabrication, assembly, and welding.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESbull; Operates less complex stamping operations including single hit jobs.bull; May assist in and/or operate automatic and/or progressive die work.bull; Operates various spot welders on an as needed basis.bull; Packs, sorts and reworks (including grinding, buffing, or polishing) a variety of parts.bull; Loads blanks onto conveyor systems for robotic applications.bull; Occasionally checks own parts and completes history sheets as necessary.bull; Conforms to all company safety rules.bull; Conforms to lock-out procedure.bull; Mixes lubricants and transports for use in press operations.bull; Conforms with manufacturing tagging system.bull; Assures use of packaging procedures with assistance of the Level III Set Up person.bull; Keeps Set Up and/or Supervisor informed of all applicable information.bull; Has working knowledge of production equipment and procedures.bull; Constantly works toward improving efficiency, and ultimately, productivity.bull; Maintains good work area housekeeping including tools and equipment.MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE TRAININGAt least a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)At least three months general experience in a manufacturing environment.If you have previous experience as a press operator, machine operator, or brake press operator, please apply.
