FCA US, LLC Maintenance Unit Leader in Trenton, Michigan
The Maintenance Area Supervisor is responsible for leading process capability variation reduction efforts in assembly/machining using process capability analysis. This position works with a cross-functional team in driving waste reduction efforts through implementation the methodsrocesses of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) pillars: Autonomous Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Quality Control, Focus Improvement, and People Development. The Maintenance Area Supervisor will actively participate and lead kaizen activities centered on waste reduction opportunities identified through cost deployment.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in a technical / engineering discipline OR Journeymen status with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience OR a minimum of 10 years of technical/manufacturing experience•Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools•Excellent communication skills with manufacturing plant personnel (written and verbal). Must be able to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously•Have the ability to work any shift•Must be familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation•Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programsPreferred Qualifications:•Green Belt/Red X/Six Sigma training•5 years in manufacturing•Microsoft Office software programs and G – suitesOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
