Manpower is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for a facility in Washington Township. Great Temp to Hire Opportunity.

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assembling and testing temperature control units. Additionally, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for reviewing the Production Schedule and determining the correct timeframe to work on jobs.

The scope of this position includes communicating the status of jobs and any parts issues with Manufacturing Supervisor, as necessary.

1st Shift -6:00am to 2:30pm - Monday - Friday (with some Saturdays)

Pay Rate - $17.00 to $19.00/Hr

Primary Responsibilities

1. Build units to blueprint drawings and specifications

2. Review parts shortage and report to Manufacturing Supervisor

3. Review Production Schedule

4. Perform test and evaluation of equipment, before ship

5. Crate and package equipment, before ship

6. Braze and solder copper assemblies

7. Able to interpret electrical schematics

Additional Responsibilities

1. Perform as a member of the Manufacturing team.

2. Report Continuous Improvement or Corrective Action Suggestions to the Management Team.

Skills and Specifications

1. Can work independently or with less supervision

2. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Ability to manage issues in a timely manner

4. Strong problem solving skills

Background/Experience/Education Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment

• Understand and comply with all safety instructions

• Basic computer knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Office

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals

• Outward thinking and well organized; the ability to display confidence with the ability to multi-task in an environment of tight deadlines and shifting priorities

• The ability to work cooperatively with internal production teams
