ManpowerGroup Materials Coordinator in Washington Township, Michigan
Manpower is looking for a Materials Coordinator for a facility in Washington Township.
The Materials Coordinator is responsible picking and staging all job carts, as well as picking all customer order related materials. Additionally, the Materials Coordinator is responsible for generating and reviewing the Production Schedule and determining the correct time frame to pick/organize materials. The Materials Coordinator will also create and maintain parts shortage reports for each job and report when parts will arrive for build.
The scope of this position includes communicating the status of jobs with Manufacturing personnel and communicating any parts issues with Materials personnel, as necessary.
1st Shift -
6:00am to 4:30pm - Monday - Friday (with some Saturdays)
Pay Rate - $17.00 to $20.00/Hr
Pick and stage all job carts, including creating bins and organizing for assembly personnel
Issue all material to jobs
Create and maintain parts shortage reports
Pick and organize material for parts orders
Build small assemblies and prepare for shipment
Print and review Production Schedule to identify required assemblies
Deliver parts orders to shipping department
Deliver job carts to assembly cells
Able to operate fork truck to load/unload delivery trucks
2-3 years of experience in a receiving environment
Understand and comply with all safety instructions
Basic computer knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Office
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
Outward thinking and well organized; the ability to display confidence with the ability to multi-task in an environment of tight deadlines and shifting priorities
The ability to work cooperatively with internal production teams
