If this sounds like you, please keep reading!Job Duties:ulliWeld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys./liliUse of straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers./liliClamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding./liliOperate welding equipment./liliProgram and run welding robot/liliProgram and operate Motoman robotic weld cells./liliDetermine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques./liliMonitor the fitting, burning, equipment and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material./liliAnalyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations./liliRecord product and processing data on specified forms or job packets./liliMark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required./liliDetect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors./liliChip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment./liliTrim excess material from workpieces./liliGrind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further painting, or finished product using hand tools and power tools./liliSmooth metal surfaces or edges./liliSelect abrasives, according to materials, sizes and shapes of work pieces, amount of stock to be removed, finishes specified, and steps in finishing processes./liliVerify quality of finished work pieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, and measuring their dimensions./liliRemove completed work pieces from equipment or work tables and place work pieces in containers or skids./liliMove products, materials, or equipment between work areas using hand jack./liliClean materials to prepare them for production./liliClean production equipment after use daily and clean floor daily./liliOperate safety equipment and use safe work habits./liliOther duties as directed by supervisor./li/ulQualifications:ulliMust be able to TIG weld on stainless steel and aluminum in a production environment./liliPass a hands-on weld test and a written general knowledge test./liliMust have good dexterity and the ability
